Park Rules & Policies

Cancellation Policy
- No refunds within 5 days of arrival.
- No refunds or discounts for bad weather, late arrivals, or early departures.
- The site is not liable for refunds in the event of force majeure.
- Bookings cannot be amended within 5 days of arrival.
- Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or amend a booking so others may book.
- Holiday insurance is recommended to cover cancellations, property, and injury.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Camping & Touring: Arrival from 1pm – 8pm, Departure by 12 noon.
- On-Site Accommodation: Arrival from 1pm – 8pm, Departure by 12 noon.
- Early Check-In: From 11am at £5 per person.
- Late Check-Out: Until 4pm at £5 per person.
- Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible.
- Bookings are held for 24 hours; after this, management may re-let your pitch/unit.
Admission
- All guests must register at reception on arrival.
- Overnight guests must present ID and sign registration forms.
- Overnight guests must be 21 or older.
- Children are not permitted on site.
General Rules
- Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to Pitchup.com bookings.
- In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints raised after departure cannot be resolved.
- Quiet hours: 10pm – 8am:
- Radios, TVs, and music must be kept at low volume.
- Car doors/boots must be closed quietly.
- Management reserves the right to deny access or terminate a stay if guest behaviour is unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
- The park and facilities are used at guests’ own risk.
- The site is not liable for injury, accidents, property damage, or refunds in the event of force majeure.
Dogs
- Up to two dogs per booking (unless agreed in advance).
- Dogs are not allowed in accommodation units.
- Dogs are not allowed within the toilet/shower block, laundry room, pot wash area or park shop.
- Dogs Must be: Kept on a lead at all times, supervised and not left unattended and be tattooed or microchipped.
- Owners must clean up after their dogs (bins provided).
- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
- The park may refuse entry or cancel bookings if guidelines are not followed.
Fires, Barbecues & Safety
- Allowed: Non-disposable barbecues, fire pits, and similar equipment if kept off the ground.
- Not allowed: Any disposable BBQs, any BBQs and open fires not off the ground.
- Fires, BBQs, or fire pits may be prohibited during dry, windy, or hot conditions.
- All barbecues and fire pits must be attended by an adult.
- No firearms are permitted.
Hired Accommodation
- Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets, and towels.
- Accommodation requires a £50 damage/cleanliness deposit hold before arrival.
- Released within 24 hours of departure after inspection, provided no damage or losses are found.
- No naked flames are permitted inside units.
- No smoking is permitted inside hired accommodation.
Occupancy
- Not permitted: 3+ units travelling together via Pitchup.com.
- Not permitted: Groups of 6+ adults (except couples and immediate family).
- Not permitted: Hen/stag parties.
Visitors
- Visitors must register at reception.
- Admission is at management’s discretion.
- Guests are responsible for visitor behaviour and any damages caused.
Facilities
- Dishwashing: Use designated sinks only.
- Laundry: Washing machine and tumble dryer available.
- Water & Waste: Drinking water taps are provided throughout the park and wastewater and chemical toilet disposal points are available (closed 10pm–8am).
- Please treat our toilet/shower block, laundry facilities, shop and other facilities with respect.
- No smoking is allowed within any park facilities (toilet/shower block, pot wash area, etc).
Pitches & Extras
- Guests must pitch units as directed by staff for safety and compliance.
- Standard pitch includes caravan/motorhome and 1 car.
- Pitches are sized for a caravan and 8ft awning; larger awnings must be arranged in advance.
Extras (per night):
- Pup tent: £10
- Electric Hookup: £4
- Additional Adults: £6
- Awning / Gazebo / Event tent: £4
- Additional Cars: £5
Additional Notes
- Late-night arrivals (after 10pm) must use the overspill car park.
- Electricity supply: 16 amps, 240V, suitable for low-wattage camping appliances only.
- The park reserves the right to reallocate pitches if requests cannot be met.
- Season: Last Friday of March – First Friday of October each year.
- The park is for holiday use only; residential use is strictly prohibited.
- No permanent washing lines are allowed.
